The lock-off trigger on this lawn shear helps to reduce fatigue when working for long periods. The cutting height can be adjusted at 3 stages and the blade change is tool-free so productivity is increased using this tool and to prevent running out of battery half way through a job. These shears have a battery capacity light to help the user keep an eye on it at all times. The electric grass shears have an ergonomically designed handle for comfortable tire-free use and as this tool is supplied with a hedge trimmer attachment it can be used immediately.

Features

Stain-Free blade surface: This Makita grass shear has a stain-free shear blade which has a surface of glittering silver obtained by non-electrolyzed nickel plating that features high anti-abrasion surface for a long lasting coating.
Tool-free blade change: For this 18v shear no tools are needed to change the blades over. The blade clamp is easy to use, just press up on the black lever insert the blade and it is locked in the clamp. Simply turn to remove the blade.
Grass receiver: This cordless grass shear has an attached grass receiver to catch the grass trimmings to increase productivity. This means you can continue to work without worry of cleaning away the waste.
Lock-off Trigger: This Makita power tool has a new lever design that includes a trigger switch with a sliding lock off function for longer, continuous use with reduced fatigue for operator convenience and safety.
Adjustable Cutting height: This garden grass shear is fitted with a lever to alter cutting height, the 3 settings are 15mm, 20mm and 25mm, for a controlled and even finish. This height adjustment is perfect for a range of shearing jobs.
Battery capacity warning lamp: A fitted battery capacity warning light on this LXT cordless grass shear shows clearly when the 18v Li-ion battery is running low – blinking red= battery power has been nearly used up. Solid red- battery power has been used up (Battery protector will shut off the power).
