The Makita DUR369 Brushless LXT Brush Cutter is powered by two 18V LXT Li-ion batteries in series to give you a 36V machine. Ideal for landscapers and professional gardeners. Able to make quick work of large jobs with its 430mm cutting diameter. The Automatic torque Drive Technology (ADT) allows the RPM to be automatically shifted according to the density of weeds. The Active Feedback sensing Technology (AFT) shuts down the tool to protect the user if the tool detects the rotation speed suddenly slowing down. The brush cutter also features a reverse switch for easy removal of grass clippings.
- 3 Stage Speed Control –high, medium & low speed can be changed by simply pushing a button on the easy to use LED display.
- Reverse Switch –tangled grass clippings can be removed by slow reverse rotation of the cutting tool (automatically stops after three seconds) by pressing button & pulling trigger
- XPT –extreme protection technology, is an advanced series of seals & channels to direct dust & moisture away from key internal components.
- Active Feedback Technology –when the metal blade (optional) hits a solid object like a tree stump or fence, the sudden decrease in rpm triggers the brake, stopping kickback occurring
- 18Vx2 Brushless Motor –powered by two 18V Li-ion batteries providing up to 1kW of output which is equivalent to 30cc petrol engines
- Automatic Torque Drive –will automatically increase the torque of the motor when increased load is detected
- 430mm (17”) Max. Cutting Width –similar cutting capacity to 30cc petrol engine grass trimmers
- Counterclockwise Blade Rotation –blade rotation is the same as petrol brush cutters making it comfortable for traditional users
